The Moscow PatentBureau /Mospatent/ is the first independent patent agency of Russia established in 1990 after radical changes in former the Soviet Union .

At the source s of creation of the company there was a group of young experts in the areas of patent licenses, economics and law.

Historical and economic conditions in Russia at the beginning of 90-th - disintegration of the totalitarian state, appearance of market economy and private property - have put before the founders of the "Moscow PatentBureau" new tasks and opened good prospects for realizations of available knowledge and experience on a principally new, creative basis.

We at once have refused to keep developing only traditional services of patent attorneys for patent agencies and at one level with them we began intensively to develop types of services unknown to Russian customers before.

Now we are leaders in the areas of management of intellectual property and offer a wide range of services, in particular:

• we render services as agents on trademarks, inventions and industrial designs, databases and programs for computers;
• we evaluate trademarks, inventions, industrial designs and Know-how;
• we render a service on creation of trademarks’ market for new classes of goods;
• we provide administrative and judicial protection and protection of the rights of trademark’s (marks of service) owner.

In different times scores of well-known companies and banks of Russia and foreign companies used the services of Moscow PatentBureau. Among them such companies as:

• Coca-Cola Inc.
• Volvo A.B.
• Salamander AG
• RCI Inc.
• Ernst & Young Inc.

and some other companies have entrusted us with protection of their rights of the trademarks on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The "Moscow PatentBureau" is the first independent patent agency in the former Soviet Union . And now the base of our financial policy is entering into a market with principally new types of services. So we were the first one, who:

• have offered services on evaluation of objects of intellectual properties;
• have begun to execute operations on purchasing and sale of trademarks and creation of a new trademarks’ market;
• have connected services of patent attorneys with the best professional lawyers for the most effective defence and protection of the rights of trademarks’ owners;
• have offered complex of measures on tax reducing with the help of objects of intellectual property;

and here now - we are the first in Russia and ex-USSR, who have created WWW site on intellectual property areas.
